Ashley Brundage

Ashley Brundage is a highly regarded Personal and Business Relationship Banker for PNC Bank in the Tampa Bay area. She was hired into her current position as a male to female transgender person. Ashley recently celebrated 12 years of marriage to Whitney and together they have two sons; Bryce, 9, and Blake, 7.

Ashley is very active within the LGBT community. She transitioned in 2010 and had since worked tirelessly to promote awareness and acceptance of gender identity within the entire community. Ms. Brundage is involved in many local and national Non-Profit Organizations. She is the newly named President of The Tampa Bay Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce. She also holds board positions with the Tampa International Gay and Lesbian Film Festival, The Ybor Youth Clinic, and TransAction Florida. She is also involved with many other events, including, the Equality Florida Gala for St. Petersburg, Florida, the Equality Florida Tampa Gala, and The Tampa Bay Diamond Award Dinner.

In 2013, Ashley was named One of Tampa Bay’s Community Leaders Under 35 in the LGBT community. She is currently focusing on expanding her community partnership within the whole community. Ashley is involved with PFLAG, Out and Equal, PNC Diversity Council, Balance Tampa Bay, and the Trans Support Network. Ashley was recently voted into the Knights of the Krewe of the Cavaliers.

Ms. Brundage speaks locally and nationally about her transition, workplace equality, diversity and inclusion, and she holds financial education trainings. Ashley has presented seminars at The Southern Comfort Conference in Atlanta, Ga., The University of South Florida Pride Alliance, MetLife Pride Day, Out N Equal Workplace Summit in St. Petersburg, Fl, The Morsani College of Medicine at The University of South Florida., Ernst & Young Coming Out Day, Boehringer Ingelhiem Pharmaceuticals, and the introduction speech for the 25th Anniversary of the Tampa International Gay and Lesbian Film Festival. Ashley recently presented for the Stetson Law School Diversity Summit. Ashley has also been interviewed in several publications, including Tampa Bay Times, Watermark Magazine, Creative Loafing, The Tampa Bay Business Journal, and Dishing with Mark and Carrie.

Ashley has been recognized in many areas and has received numerous awards including: 2014 PNC Bank Circle of Excellence Award and 2014 Market All Star Award, University of South Florida 2014 Community Pride Award, 2013 Watermark Wave Award and 2014 St. Pete Pride Grand Marshal nominee. Ashley was nominated for the Tampa Bay Business Journal Business Woman of the Year, The Trans 100 and the PNC Bank Performance Award in 2014. Ashley was named one of the 14 Most Remarkable People of 2014, by Watermark Magazine in December of 2014. She was also just named a finalist for the 2015 St Pete Pride Grand Marshal.

Ashley is a PNC certified Women’s Business Advocate. She knows it is a great honor to be with a company that received a score of 100 on the Human Rights Campaign Index.
