Transgender 101 is an introduction to transgender issues.

A basic overview of general terms and such as Transgender, Transsexual, Cross dresser, Gender Neutral to name a few. Also discussed will be what it means to Transition as well as the Harry Benjamin Standards of Care.

Lambda Legal

While marriage equality has received much media attention, progress continues on other important aspects of LGBT equality. Trans and gender expansive people and LGBT youth still face significant challenges to lived equality from the workplace to school and foster care. Participants will learn about the latest development in civil rights for trans and gender expansive people. In addition, the workshop will highlight ongoing advocacy in Florida focused on protecting the rights of LGBT youth in school and foster care.

The Four Seasons of the HTG - Hetero TransGender

A guide for couples seeking productive answers struggling with the matter of HTG.

Couples privately battle over the issue of having a HTG partner. Getting past the understanding and accepting the difference between male attraction and feminine identity is the typical first hurdle once the knowledge of a partner's affinity for femininity.

In this presentation the HTG experience will be broken into four stages and each will be described in terms of productive vs. non-productive directions. Our goal is to create a platform where couples can relate and respect.

This presentation will include interactive personality assessments, disclosure of relevant but little known facts gathered from research do on behalf of this topic and many spring boards for future discussions and re-assessing issues by participants.
